Seven seasons. Twenty-two couples. And one question Unexpected fans keep asking: who’s still together in 2026? From shocking splits to new marriages and brand-new babies, here’s the complete where-are-they-now update on every main couple from TLC’s Unexpected. You can also watch the full documentary on the CaughtUp YouTube channel.
Season 7 (2026): The Newest Drama
Bella Vaughn and Hunter Johnson arrived as the youngest couple in the show’s history. Their son, Wesley Kristopher, was born in March 2025. What followed was the most talked-about storyline of 2026: Hunter proposed on May 6, 2026, Bella confirmed they’d split on May 29, they reconciled around June 22 — and split again in mid-July. Bella has spoken on social media about crying over giving Wes a “broken home,” while Hunter has reportedly moved on with a new girlfriend. Behind the scenes, custody battles continue in Arkansas court, and both families have been through legal drama of their own.
Mia Quebedeaux and Jessie Kistler are the couple fans are rooting for. They welcomed daughter Oakleigh Rae Kistler in June 2025, survived a devastating house fire in January 2026 that destroyed their home (no one was hurt), and got engaged on May 10, 2026 when Jessie proposed in New Orleans after asking Mia’s dad’s permission.
Amaya and Jose split when their son Samuel (“Sammy”) was just a few months old. In the Season 7 finale, Amaya revealed she is dating her girlfriend Jahnay, saying she’s still figuring things out and believes she’s bisexual.
Isabella Leal-Stone and Bryce Palmer were broken up when their daughter Haisley was born in May 2025 — but they’ve reconciled and announced their engagement in February 2026.
Seasons 5 & 6: Feel-Good Wins and Quiet Splits
Emalee Lenhard and Nate Alden are one of the show’s true success stories. Married in May 2024 and living in Oregon, the Season 6 couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary in 2026 — and they announced they’re expecting a baby girl, due in February. (As of September 2026, the baby has not been born yet.)
Kayleigh Weathers and Graham Grissom broke up after the Season 6 finale, then reconciled in September 2024. They announced a second pregnancy in 2025 and welcomed their second son in January 2026 — parents of two at just 19.
Aniyah and Dakwon are no longer together, with reports confirming the split as of August 2024.
Kylen Smith and Jason Korpi are still together as of a 2025 update, now parents of two: son Xavier and daughter Oakley, born in 2024.
Emersyn Potter and Mason Ramirez — the fan-favorite Season 5 couple — are still together and raising their son Mateo, though they’ve kept a low profile since 2023.
Seasons 3 & 4: The High-Drama Era
Myrka Cantu’s life has changed enormously. Now married to Juan Castillo, she welcomed her second daughter Axelia in early 2023, son Alejandro Uriel in January 2025, and a fourth child — a daughter — in February 2026, joking that this one was her last. Her ex, Ethan Ybarra, lives in California and was arrested in August 2025 on alleged robbery and battery charges after allegedly stealing a tip jar from a marijuana dispensary (charged, not convicted). Custody of their daughter Attalie was finalized in April 2023.
Jenna Ronan split from Aden Albright and moved on with JJ Della — they’re engaged since October 2023 and welcomed son James Richard Della IV, nicknamed “Baby Jim,” in November 2023. Jenna announced in April 2025 that she was leaving Unexpected after two seasons.
Rilah Ferrer’s story took a true-crime turn. Her ex Anthony Vanelli was sentenced to four years in prison in a 2023 aggravated-battery case. Rilah herself pleaded no contest to a sexual cyber-harassment charge in August 2026, and welcomed a baby girl around September 2026 with her new boyfriend Eddie.
Matthew Blevins — of the infamous Season 3 love triangle with two girls named Hailey — was arrested again in April 2025 on alleged charges including second-degree robbery and fourth-degree assault.
Tyra Boisseau and Alex Wilson have been on and off for years and share two kids, daughter Layla and son Junior (born 2023). Their current status is unverified.
Season 2 Couples: New Chapters
Laura Barron finalized her divorce from Tylor Strawmyer in 2021 after his infidelity. She moved on with Andrew Taylor, and they welcomed a baby girl, Carmen, on October 7, 2024.
Chloe Mendoza split from Max Schenzel in early 2020 and has custody of their daughter Ava. Max has faced well-documented substance and legal struggles, and in September 2026 he announced on Instagram that his father, Todd Schenzel, had died after battling brain cancer.
Emiley Noack and Diego Reyes split after Season 2. Diego married Shannon Reyes in 2022, they welcomed a baby boy around October 2023, and he’s serving in the military. Emiley has gone private, reportedly living in Texas.
Season 1 Originals: Where It All Started
Lilly Bennett married Lawrence Bishop in March 2023 — the couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary in March 2026. They share son LJ (born November 2020), and Lilly co-parents daughter Aaliyah with her Season 1 ex, James Kennedy.
McKayla Adkins has been married twice since splitting with Caelan Morrison: first to Ethan Tenney (June 2021, separated August 2023), then to Cameron H. on May 5, 2025. She’s now a mom of three. Caelan reportedly welcomed a third child of his own in May 2024.
Lexus Scheller and Shayden Massey are long split. Lexus welcomed a second daughter, Amethyst, in September 2021 with her fiancé Isaiah Norwood. Shayden has since welcomed two more daughters of his own. Both have stayed out of the spotlight in recent years.
