Bob Myers stepped down from his job with the Golden State Warriors, but his connection to the team and his family stays strong. Fans remember him for building a championship team in the Bay Area.
At home, though, Myers has his biggest job – being a husband and father.
Let’s look at Bob Myers’ children, his marriage to his wife Kristen, and the family moments that shaped his life. He may have left basketball management behind, but his most crucial role continues at home with his family.
Bob Myers and His Daughters: Kayla, Annabella, and Rosie
Bob Myers has three daughters – Kayla, Annabella, and Rosie. Myers and his wife Kristen keep their family life private most of the time. You can see some photos of the girls on Kristen’s social media when she decides to share them.
The most special public moment with his daughters happened in March 2024.
Bob came back to Chase Center for the first time after leaving his Warriors job. He was working as an ESPN broadcaster for a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The team surprised him with a tribute during the game.
His daughters walked out in front of the crowd to give a speech in honor of their dad. They stood right in front of the four championship trophies Myers helped the Warriors win.
Each girl held up signs they made by hand with messages like “Thank you, daddy,” and “Memories 4 life.” They even drew little hearts on the signs.
Bob started crying when he saw his daughters up there.
The moment showed how much the Warriors’ journey meant to him and his family. His daughters were part of every step along the way, watching their dad build something special in the Golden State.
Bob Myers’ Wife Kristen
Bob and Kristen Myers knew each other as kids growing up in Alamo, California. They didn’t date back then, though.
Years later, Bob went to a Lakers game at Staples Center for work. He spotted one of the Lakers’ Girls on the court and realized it was Kristen. They started talking again, and things took off from there.
Bob was honest about his goals right from their first date. He told Kristen he wanted to teach or coach high school basketball someday.
Kristen didn’t buy it, though. She knew Bob too well and said he couldn’t stop working in basketball. She once said, “He just can’t stop… It’s just in him.” She was right about his passion for the game.
That drive helped Bob become one of the best basketball executives around.
In 2023, the couple bought a huge seven-bedroom house in Santa Monica. The place has everything – a home theater, gym, and even a waterslide that goes into the pool.
Their daughters have the perfect setup for growing up, with all the fun features around the house.
Remembering Kristen’s Brother: Scott Dinsmore
Family comes first in the Myers house, especially when times get tough. Kristen’s brother, Scott Dinsmore, died in 2015 in a climbing accident near Mount Kilimanjaro’s summit.
Scott had created Live Your Legend, a business that helped people find careers they loved.
The news destroyed Kristen and Bob. Kristen spent the whole day crying after she heard what happened. Bob couldn’t concentrate on anything at work. Neither of them knew how to handle losing Scott.
They kept Scott’s memory alive in special ways. One year after he died, the family met at the Palace of Fine Arts. They let go of balloons with handwritten notes inside. Bob also wore a Live Your Legend shirt to a basketball game that year.
Scott’s death taught them that life can end without warning. The family decided to value each day more than before. Losing Scott made the Myers family stick together even tightly.
Those moments, like when their daughters spoke for Bob in 2024, became more important because they knew family time doesn’t last forever.
