Chandler Kinney Parents: The Mother-Daughter Duo Changing Lives Through Chandler’s Friends

The rising actress Chandler Kinney was born on August 3, 2000, in Sacramento, California, to Taryn Corbett-Kinney, a producer, writer, and strategist of African American heritage.

Her mother is best known for her work on projects like the film Across the Pond and the mini-series Unseen and Evie Rose.

Educated at the University of Missouri-Columbia and Antioch University Santa Barbara, the young star has not only pursued her career but also a passion for giving back.

She shares an especially close bond with her mother, often expressing heartfelt gratitude on Mother’s Day.

You are unconditional love embodied, and I feel so lucky to have you by my side every step of the way. Thanks for being just as crazy as I am and being my favorite person to go on the wildest adventures with :)) Here’s to many more !!!! Happy mother’s day

Together, they co-founded Chandler’s Friends, a philanthropic organization dedicated to helping needy children.

Chandler’s Friends is an organisation that my mom and I created about 3 years ago! From a young age, my parents emphasised the importance of philanthropy and giving back to the community, so I’ve always had that part of me that wants to do work where work is needed. Since then, we’ve expanded and are now giving back on a much larger scale. Last year for the holiday season, we were able to donate 300 toys to homeless youth. This year, we’re doing another toy wrapping event for the holidays and we hope to reach even more children!

Conversely, Chandler shared a close bond with his father, and glimpses of their personal life on social media. However, she isn’t vocal about their relationship.

She has revealed that she views her Lethal Weapon co-star Damon Wayans as a father figure. She deeply respects and admires Wayans not only for his brilliance as a comedic genius but also for his wisdom and kindness.

Chandler considers herself fortunate to have worked alongside him, learning invaluable lessons on and off set. She cherishes his mentorship and the lively, supportive atmosphere he fosters among the team.

He’s an amazing human being. I respect him immensely. I really look up to him. He’s kind of like another father figure to me just because we’ve worked together for so long and so closely. I really trust him as an artist, but also as a person. It’s just been incredible.
