The Full House cast reunion fans have been waiting for finally happened in Hartford, Connecticut. Over the weekend of October 16–18, the fifth-anniversary 90s Con hosted the largest gathering of Full House alumni in the convention’s history — seven cast members on one stage, 31 years after the sitcom’s final episode aired.

TV Insider reported it featured the largest gathering of Full House cast members in the event’s history: Dave Coulier, John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Scott Weinger, and Andrea Barber.

For Stamos, it was a first: EntertainmentNow reported that Bure confirmed the weekend was his first-ever fan convention. Fans lined up anyway — Remind Magazine reported attendees waited three hours or more for photos and autographs with Uncle Jesse.

John Stamos’s dance video with a Bob Saget cutout stole the weekend

After the convention, Stamos shared an Instagram video of the cast enthusiastically dancing alongside a cardboard cutout of the late Bob Saget — Danny Tanner until his death in January 2022. Hello Magazine reported the clip became the weekend’s most-shared moment.

“When the gang is back together…” Stamos wrote in the caption. Fans flooded the comments — “The inclusion of Bob warmed my whole heart,” one wrote, while another added, “I don’t know if there’s any other cast out there that radiates happiness like this one!”

It was not the only Saget tribute of the weekend. During the Sunday panel, Coulier recalled how the cast’s bond stretched far beyond the set — remembering barbecues and family-like get-togethers at Stamos’s home, he said, “We were like a family all the time. And you guys were like our kids.”

What Stamos revealed about the Olsen twins at the reunion

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle for all eight seasons, skipped Hartford. However, they were very much part of the conversation: TV Insider’s coverage centered on Stamos recalling the emotional Olsen twins reunion at Saget’s memorial, while Coulier drew huge laughs with his line about the twins, who founded the fashion label The Row in 2005 — “I think my favorite memory is when I learned that they became billionaires.”

Sweetin added one of the weekend’s most startling stories. She recalled sitting in a parked car with Saget before a Janet Jackson concert in the late 1980s or early 1990s, when the window suddenly shattered in what she described as a drive-by shooting. She had leaned down to tie her shoes as the shots rang out; both scrambled to safety, and Saget later had to explain it all to her mother. Reports of the panel differ on whether the shooting happened before or after the concert.

Why this Full House cast reunion hits harder than the others

Full House aired 192 episodes over eight seasons on ABC, with the finale on May 23, 1995 — meaning Sunday’s panel landed 31 years later. The cast has been alumni for nearly four times as long as the show itself ran.

Hartford was also bigger than the group’s last big appearance: in August, Coulier, Stamos, Sweetin, Loughlin, and Barber shared a stage at Nostalgia Con in Orlando; this time Bure and Weinger joined them.

The weekend capped a whirlwind October: just days earlier, the cast reunited at the Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine benefit, where Stamos received the Bob Saget Legacy Award. Read our full coverage of that emotional night here — 90s Con was the second act.

What’s next for the Tanner family

Do not expect the nostalgia to slow down. Bure’s Great American Family movie A Second Chance Christmas premiered October 10, and she told EntertainmentNow she holds watch parties for her ongoing Special Forces run at home.

Stamos, meanwhile, has a children’s book about hummingbirds on the way — co-written with his 8-year-old son Billy, about spirits from the past coming back.

Full House is streaming on Hulu and Disney+ in the US, so a new generation is discovering the Tanners even as the originals keep filling convention halls. Put this cast together, and the laughs — and the heartfelt moments — follow. For more on the cast’s emotional October, see how the family honored Bob Saget at last week’s benefit.
