A source recently spoke with PEOPLE, revealing that Kim Kardashian-West is preparing to divorce Kanye West.
It’s unclear what directly caused the divorce. But, there are several potential reasons. In December, it was reported that the couple lives different lives as they each work on their own projects. Apparently, they don’t overlap in many ways.
Additionally, there is speculation that Kanye has serious mental health issues. It’s possible that these challenges have come between Kim and Kanye.
At this point, no one has confirmed the cause of divorce, and it’s mostly speculation. About Kanye’s feelings about the divorce, a source told PEOPLE, “He’s okay. He’s sad, but okay. He knows the inevitable will happen, and he knows that it’s coming soon,”

Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans know that all of the members of the family are pretty active on social media. Kim, in particular, shares frequent photos of herself and her family on social media. So, it might come as a surprise to see that she hasn’t shared a new post in a day.
Her most recent post was shared on Tuesday, and it’s a photo of herself in a SKIMS set. In her caption, she promotes her SKIMS business.
Since then, Kim has seemingly avoided being on social media. It’s assumed that this has something to do with the divorce news going public. If Kim did share a new post on social media, it’s likely that it would be flooded with comments about the divorce, whether her post is about the divorce or not.
Additionally, she may be taking a social media break to process the divorce and work through everything with Kanye and the lawyer.

Though Kim hasn’t taken to social media to share about the divorce, she is getting plenty of love and support from her many social media followers. The KUWTK star has nearly 200,000,000 followers on Instagram alone. So, there are plenty of people to send her love and well wishes during this challenging time in her life.
As mentioned previously, Kim posted a photo of herself to promote her SKIMS line of clothing on Tuesday. In the comments section of that post, she is getting several supportive comments. Some fans are saying that they hope she’s okay.
Many of the comments on Kim’s post are simply emojis, complimenting her on her appearance. Nonetheless, it’s safe to say that fans are supportive of Kim no matter what. They have her back through the highs and the lows.
