Andrew Abbott, the Cincinnati Reds baseball pitcher, has been dating Julia Jane Eskew, a national-level swimmer with an impressive background. They have been in a relationship for over 4 years.
He began playing baseball at Halifax County High School in South Boston, Virginia. The New York Yankees drafted him in the 36th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft.
However, they didn’t sign a contract, and he played college baseball at the University of Virginia and collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Later, the Cincinnati Reds drafted him in the second round of the 2021 MLB draft. He spent his first professional season with the Arizona Complex League Reds and Daytona Tortugas. The Reds announced his promotion to the major leagues for the first time on June 4, 2023, to start against the Milwaukee Brewers.

She was a collegiate swimmer who played for the University of Virginia and qualified for the U.S. Open and Zones. She was a breaststroke swimmer and broke most of the records. Moreover, she was named to All-State and All-Region Teams during all her freshman, sophomore, and junior years.
Julia has earned the National Aquatic Club’s Tate Ramsden Character Award and Leadership Award. She recorded three career-best times, swimming a time of 23.68 in the 50-yard freestyle, 51.46 in the 100-yard freestyle, and 1:03.96 in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Liberty Last Chance meet in the 2018-19 season.
Likewise, she progressed to the finals in the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke at the Tennessee Invitational from 2019 to 2020. She received the ACC Academic Honor Roll title for two consecutive seasons, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
Despite being selected for the NCAA Championship, Julia couldn’t debut due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, she continues her INTER-global studies but doesn’t seem active in swimming. Her available swimming updates are till 2020.
