Kevin Manno Parents: The Supportive Duo Behind the Radio Star’s Success

Kevin Manno Parents

Kevin Manno’s voice has been entertaining people for years. He got his start at Q101 FM in Chicago while still studying at North Central College in Illinois.

Most people know him from his radio work, but he also appeared on television, co-hosting MTV’s The Seven in 2010.

Ever since then, he has been working in the broadcasting world. His career moved him from Chicago to Los Angeles. Let’s delve into his personal life in this article, rather than focusing solely on his professional journey.

Who Are Kevin Manno’s Parents?

Kevin Manno’s parents are Joanne and Garry Manno, who have been residing in Valparaiso, Indiana, for many years. These two have been married for more than four decades.

Joanne got all sentimental last September when she posted about their 44th anniversary. She wrote about how Garry has been there for her through thick and thin. If you check out her social media, you’ll see numerous photos of her with her grandkids. She’s having a blissful life as a grandmother.

Garry graduated from Highland High School way back in 1966. Both of Kevin’s parents have been cheering him on throughout his whole broadcasting journey.

Kevin’s Relationship With His Brother Ryan

Kevin shares a close bond with his elder brother, Ryan. Both of them ended up in radio, which is cool when you think about it. They work together hosting The Manno Program on Q101 FM.

Growing up in Highland, Indiana, these two were always tuning into Q101. They probably never dreamed they’d end up working at the same station they listened to as kids.

Ryan’s doing well for himself in the radio world. He works as a Senior Producer for The Ellen K Morning Show, and you can also hear him on KOST.

Before landing there, he bounced around different radio stations in Los Angeles and Seattle, picking up experience along the way.

Just like Kevin, Ryan got his start in the Chicago radio scene. He didn’t waste time making people notice his work. The brothers share the same drive when it comes to broadcasting.

They’ve turned their childhood hobby of listening to the radio into actual careers, and now they get to work together doing something they both love.

Kevin Manno Married Ali Fedotowsky

Kevin met Ali Fedotowsky in 2013 while working on her show, 1st Look. After getting to know each other better, friendship turned into something more romantic. He decided to pop the question two years later, to which Ali said yes.

Their wedding took place in March 2017, overlooking the beach at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Ali got pretty emotional about the whole thing, talking about how Kevin was the love of her life. She said she felt fortunate to have finally become Mrs. Manno.

Kevin and Ali’s family grew pretty quickly. Their daughter Molly arrived in 2016, actually before they got married. Then, their son Riley arrived in 2018. Both of them like sharing bits of their family life online.

Furthermore, Kevin was married once before Ali came along. He married Kris Mathes in 2011, but that marriage only lasted about a year.

Kris grew up in Chicago and went to Indiana University Bloomington, graduating in 2005. She works as the Central Division Manager at D.L. Couch. Nobody talks about what went wrong with that marriage, and both of them seem to prefer keeping those details private.

Kevin was Diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer

Kevin and Ali had to share some tough news in January 2025 when they found out he had papillary thyroid cancer.

It all started when Kevin decided to undergo a full-body MRI scan with Prenuvo in 2024. He probably thought it would just give him peace of mind. Instead, the scan showed two suspicious spots on his thyroid. His doctors wanted to dig deeper, so Kevin went through a biopsy and CT scan.

Kevin needed surgery to remove the cancer. Ali stayed by his side through everything, sharing updates when she could handle talking about it.

Then came the news everyone was hoping for. Kevin beat the cancer thoroughly. Ali posted online about how grateful and relieved she felt after getting the all-clear from doctors. She kept talking about how tough Kevin was during treatment.
