Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s parents divorced when he was only five years old. He was born to a Hispanic father and a White American mother.
He is an American actor famous for appearing as Spencer Cassadine in General Hospital and Lyle Menendez in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
Nicholas quit his athletic career to focus on acting and studied at Visionbox Studio Theater under Jennifer McCray Rincón. Before his acting career, he worked at a car dealership while submitting self-tape auditions.
His television debut was on General Hospital on July 1, 2021. He signed a three-year deal with the General Hospital, but tragically, his longtime manager, Jenevieve Brewer, passed away only a few months after his debut. He quit the series in January 2024.

Nicholas was born on September 6, 1999, in Houston, Texas. His parents then relocated to Denver, Colorado, where he grew up with his younger half-siblings.
After his parents divorced when he was five, he split his time between his mother’s home in Denver and his father’s hometown of Arvada, Colorado. He kept a strong bond with both of his parents.
Nicholas was a precocious kid who spent much time outdoors, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking. He was occasionally seen with his brother, Michael, and they celebrated his Daytime Emmy victory together.
As an outdoor person, he enjoyed hiking and walking around the Bandelier National Monument while growing up.
